The little dogs were still at the door when we woke up in
the morning. Today we are not sure how far we will get so we left the free camp
at 9:00am. Stopped just outside
Augathella for morning tea and on the way to there we saw lots of dead
kangaroos, live hawks, a bustard and a dingo crossing the road.
We arrived in Tambo and could not believe all the caravans
in the main street. We found the info
centre to see where we could have lunch and drove around the corner to a lovely
park and there were a lot of vans there too.
After lunch I went and found the Tambo teddy store and could not resist
in purchasing one and he is cute.
We decided to push onto Blackall and arrived there about
3:30pm found the park and they were having a camp oven dinner so we could not
let that go. It started at 5pm for happy
hour and 6pm was dinner and at happy hr we met some of the other people in the
park and dinner was great roast beef and vegies great night.
