We set off from the park to drive south 13ks south of Winton
to visit the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum. The tours run on the hr from 9am and we had to wait until 10am, we walked over to the lab to see the first part of the tour which was very interesting and informative.
Now back to the info centre to attend the second part of the
tour which was in a room where all the dinosaur bones were kept after they had
done all the work in the lab. Great
place will come back again.
Another great tour.
It is now 12:30 and time to hit the road as we have about
2hr to Longreach, we had lunch at one of the rest stops on the way.
We have arrived in Longreach and we are having a couple of
days at the caravan park and it is no different to any other place we have been
out here not grass just dirt and lots of it.
