Sunday 1st June Roma – Mt Moffatt

Today we head north for 220ks from Injune and not sure how long it will take as we have not been to Mt Moffatt and most of it is on dirt road and this is the first time the van has seen corrugations and many miles of dirt.  The day was sunny and hot and very long as when we got on the dirt even though we only had 70ks it took 2hr 30min as we had to travel slow.  The van and car handled it really well and I think the van likes dirt road.

We saw a camel farm not far from Injune and Paul thought he was seeing things so we had to stop and take some photos.
Before we found our camp site we visited the Rangers visitor information board and decided to camp at Dargonelly rock hole when we arrive there we were on our own for about 30min and to our surprise another vehicle turned up and they decided to camp there the night.

We went for a walk to the water hole and the weather was looking nasty as though it might rain if that is the case we will be stuck here for a few days.
